BioAge Labs is a Nasdaq-listed (BIOA), clinical-stage biotechnology company that develops therapies for cardiometabolic diseases by targeting the biology of human aging. Its discovery platform analyses proprietary multi-omics data from human aging cohorts, including serially profiled circulating proteins linked to functional decline, disease incidence and mortality, to identify targets. Its lead candidate, BGE-102, is an oral, brain-penetrant NLRP3 inhibitor in Phase 2 studies for obesity with cardiovascular risk (QUELL CV) and diabetic macular edema (QUELL DME). The company discontinued its first APJ agonist, azelaprag, after liver transaminase elevations in the Phase 2 STRIDES obesity trial and is developing distinct APJ agonist antibodies and small molecules, with an IND anticipated by the end of 2026. It also runs platform-derived programmes with Eli Lilly and a target-discovery collaboration with Novartis.
