Pfizer Inc. is a US multinational pharmaceutical company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (PFE). Founded in 1849 in Brooklyn by Charles Pfizer and Charles Erhart and headquartered in New York City, it is one of the world's largest drugmakers. It is included here as a major industry player whose portfolio intersects with aging biology rather than as a dedicated longevity company; it does not run a standalone geroscience division.
