Impact

Bryan Johnson is a technology entrepreneur who founded the payments company Braintree, which with Venmo was sold for $800 million, and later turned to personal longevity experimentation. With a team of medical professionals he developed Blueprint, an intensive, heavily measured personal health protocol that he publishes free of charge and that underpins the consumer company Blueprint, which sells nutrition, supplement and personal-care products and offers biomarker testing. In October 2025 Blueprint announced a $60 million funding round from about 50 individual investors, with the stated aim of making the measurements, protocols and therapies in his regimen accessible to others. He also promotes 'Don't Die', a movement and philosophy framing the avoidance of death as a societal priority, through summits, an app and a Netflix documentary about his regimen. His relevance to the longevity field lies mainly in public communication and consumer products rather than peer-reviewed research; his YouTube channel has more than two million subscribers.
