Evandro Fei Fang (also listed as Fei Fang-Stavem) leads a laboratory at the University of Oslo and Akershus University Hospital studying the molecular mechanisms of human ageing and age-predisposed Alzheimer's disease. His group's four stated research lines are NAD+ biology and ageing; the mechanisms of mitophagy and its protective role in Alzheimer's disease; the application of artificial intelligence to drug development for Alzheimer's disease and healthy longevity; and clinical trials built on the lab's preclinical findings. He previously worked at the US National Institute on Aging and at CUHK, according to his Scholar profile. He coordinates the NO-Age (Norwegian Centre on Healthy Ageing) network and the Hong Kong-Nordic Research Network, which link ageing researchers across Norway and Asia. In 2023 he received the Norwegian National Association for Public Health's dementia research prize. His lab discloses industry links, including a CRADA with ChromaDex and agreements with several longevity companies. For the longevity field he is a point of reference on NAD+ augmentation and mitophagy as intervention targets in brain ageing.
