Impact

Peter Attia is a physician and public communicator on longevity medicine. He founded Early Medical, a practice that, in its own description, applies what he calls "Medicine 3.0" with the aim of lengthening both lifespan and healthspan, and hosts the podcast The Peter Attia Drive, which features long-form interviews with researchers and clinicians on exercise, nutrition, sleep, emotional health and disease prevention. He is the author of Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity, listed on his site as a #1 New York Times bestseller, and publishes a weekly newsletter and premium research articles. He received his MD from Stanford University School of Medicine, trained for five years in general surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and spent two years as a surgical oncology fellow at the National Cancer Institute working on immune-based therapies for melanoma. He is based in Austin, Texas.
