Sergey Young is a longevity investor, author and public communicator who has helped bring aging science to a wider investor and general audience. After a career in fund management, he founded the Longevity Vision Fund in 2019, a $100 million fund backing companies that develop therapies, diagnostics and services to extend healthy lifespan, with portfolio holdings including Life Biosciences and Freenome. In 2023 he co-founded the BOLD Longevity Growth Fund with Peter Diamandis. He is a co-creator and benefactor of XPRIZE Healthspan, a $101 million competition rewarding therapies that restore muscle, cognitive and immune function in older adults, and serves on the Innovation Board of the XPRIZE Foundation and the board of the American Federation for Aging Research. His 2021 book, The Science and Technology of Growing Young, a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller, surveys near-term and longer-term routes to extending healthspan for a broad readership.
