About
Cambrian Bio is a privately held, clinical-stage drug development company in New York that builds and manages pipeline companies (PipeCos), each developing therapeutics against a biological driver of aging, with the stated strategy of treating specific diseases first and later using the drugs preventively. Its current focus is metabolic pathways that decline with age. The lead asset, ATX-304 from Amplifier Therapeutics, is an oral AMPK network activator that reported Phase 1b data in adults with obesity and prediabetes in 2026, with Phase 2 studies (REWIRE-1 and REWIRE-2) planned. Its TORnado platform develops mTORC1-selective inhibitors intended to avoid mTORC2-related side effects and received an ARPA-H PROSPR award in 2026 to target intrinsic capacity in older people. Other PipeCos have addressed protein crosslinking (Isterian Biotech) and ovarian aging (Oviva Therapeutics, since acquired by Granata Bio).
