About

Gero is a privately held, preclinical-stage biotechnology company headquartered in Singapore, with a U.S. subsidiary in San Francisco, that applies physics-based modelling and AI to large longitudinal human health datasets to find drug targets for age-related diseases and aging itself. Its models, trained on curated longitudinal medical records integrated with molecular, omics and genetic data, aim to separate reversible disease processes from slower, irreversible aging processes. Its Fedichev-Gruber framework classifies interventions into hallmark-targeting drugs, noise-reducing drugs and entropy-controlling drugs, and the company says its platform targets the latter two. In 2025 it signed a joint research and license agreement with Chugai Pharmaceutical (Roche Group) for antibodies against Gero-identified targets and released ProtoBind-Diff, a generative model for small-molecule design from protein sequence. It previously had a 2023 research collaboration with Pfizer on fibrotic disease targets.
