About
The NUS Academy for Healthy Longevity is a unit of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, co-founded by Andrea Maier and Hans Meij to research, teach and disseminate geroscience and precision geromedicine. It runs education programmes (a Healthy Longevity Talent Incubator, intensive courses for professionals) and, since October 2025, a 350 m2 Clinical Trial Centre for multi-system gerodiagnostic assessments and parallel trials of lifestyle, supplement and drug interventions, including the XPRIZE Healthspan semifinalist PROMETHEUS trial. It also leads the Global Epigenetic Age Systematic Review Consortium on epigenetic clocks and the multi-nation HELO survey on public attitudes to healthy longevity. It works alongside the separate NUS Healthy Longevity Translational Research Programme, directed by Brian Kennedy, which covers biology, brain and vascular ageing.
